Romances classification[edit]

Seeing how Wikipedia has gotten, I'm gonna say now, no I can't link you to X Literary Journal: The New Shakespearean Romances or whatever. Go to your local bookstore and open up a recent version of any of these plays and it should back me up. Even in not so recent versions I see references to these for plays as romances, and my English teacher, who's been teaching Shakespeare for decades has adopted this classification, hence I think WIkipedia needs an article on it. --Quintucket 20:59, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. We should either have an article on the five Romances — and possibly elucidating on the classification and its history — or Shakespearean romances should be a redirect to the appropriate part of Shakespearean comedy or possibly a Classification of Shakespeare's plays (this latter dealing with the not insignificant amount of ink expended on the issue). --Xover (talk) 21:23, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
