Babylonian tradition[edit]

I was searching for information about the ancient Babylonian tradition of seven sages and searched "Seven Sages" and the only wikipedia page I found had references only to the Greek hepta sophistai, the Indian Saptarishi, the Chinese Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, and some references to Dragon Quest and a Zelda video game. Maybe someone out there with knowledge can add a reference to the Akkadian (and Sumerian?) traditions - and give sources for further study.
