Bad Travelogue[edit]

This article is currently limited, repetitive and unclear, reminiscent of the poor quality articles in the expatriate English language press of southern Spain.

References to the trogolodyte dwellings need to be simplified and clarified, as does mention of the wine industry.

There is no description of the substantial castle which clearly formed the basis of the medieval villa' with its imposing church from which the modern town evolved post-Reconquista. A more informative reference to the first unsuccessful siege of Antequera in ?1407 should be added with an account of its final capture in ?1484.

I have tidied up some of the most egregious travelogue waffle and when I have time will see if a Spanish language article can be translated as a better basis for an English article. JF42 (talk) 11:51, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Where are the citations?[edit]

There are little to no citations, the style is extremely un-Wikipedia like, and there are so much subjective waffle. 24.142.60.201 (talk) 18:25, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
