Page move[edit]

I'm about to split the New Zealand article into two, so that each of the houses is covered separately. At that point, it would probably be appropriate to move this article to make way for a dab page. Is it ok to do so, or shall I put up a formal move request? What dab would be most appropriate for this article? Schwede66 02:16, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved it, but someone should change the links before starting the dab page. I'm going to bed soon, but I could do it tomorrow. -Rrius (talk) 02:27, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've tidied up the incoming links. Schwede66 06:16, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Dab page is done. Schwede66 19:29, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List[edit]

Is there a list of past chairmen available anywhere? john k (talk) 22:56, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've pieced together a list. The 18th century names (who are only quasi-official), come from this article. The 19th and 20th century ones were pieced together using google - some were already discussed on Wikipedia, some are listed at Cracroft's Peerage, some were pieced together with Hansard. There is every probability that there are some mistakes. john k (talk) 16:36, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Chairman of Committees (House of Lords)Senior Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords – Chairman of Committees has been known as Senior Deputy Speaker since September 2016. As this title has been routinely used instead of the earlier title, the article should be moved under WP:NAMECHANGES. Here are a link on the title change and a link on the office: [1], [2] Editor FIN (talk) 05:11, 11 November 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. JudgeRM (talk to me) 04:01, 19 November 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. • Relisting comment: At first glance this seems premature, but perhaps in the case of renamed public offices common usage really can change this quickly. Is this office frequently in the news? I confess I had not heard of it at all. Andrewa (talk) 08:54, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support: per WP:NAMECHANGES. Ebonelm (talk) 19:11, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
