Detention - R. v. Grant[edit]

In this article, as well as Section Nine of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, I essentially just copied the summary the court gave at para. 44 of the decision. Reading it over, I'm wondering if there's a need to covert some of the language into more lay terms for the average reader, such as latin terms like inter alia...
