Couple ?[edit]

Does anyone know if Rolf and Fionnuala are a marriage or couple in romantic terms? Nothing ever appears anywhere either claiming or disclaiming this, but many songs and photographs do suggest it could be. "Fairytales" ?[edit]

I think so. "Fairytales" is not an album but a song. Secret Garden's 4th album "once in a redmoon" includes this song which is the same name. This article needs editing.

Seems "Fairytales" might be a collection album, named "Fairytales - Highlights from Secret Garden", however they (Secret Garden) don't list it on their official web site where they do list "Dreamcatcher" which is also a best-of collection album... Laniala (talk) 13:14, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About "Nocturne"[edit]

Eh, if it was an instrumental piece, it wouldn't have won the Eurovision SONG contest. It would have been disqualified. Why, you can probably google for the lyrics.

Should this band really be the main article for "The Secret Garden"? Surely the book is much better known, and is in fact the name on which the band's name is based? This seems a bit stupid. I just typed "The Secret Garden" into the search field, clicked "Go", and Wikipedia displayed the article about the book. You're right, I was typing "Secret Garden." All the same, shouldn't that lead to at least disambiguation page from that search and not to the band? I think there's quite a chasm in public knowledge between the two, and I also think it's quite likely there'll be a number of people searching for the book who neglect to add the "the." I've finished the edits, but the final rename (of Secret Garden (disambiguation) to Secret Garden will need to be done by an administrator as the first move created a redirect page called Secret Garden, thereby preventing ordinary users from overwriting it. Stephen King[edit]

Has there been any speculation on whether or not this band is very inspired by the works of Stephen King? Must be something there, they have the same name as a Stephen King novella and they have, among others, made a song called Dreamcatcher, also a book by said author. I doubt that name is a coincidence. The name catches the imagination. There is actually a device, a little like a mobile, that is called a dream catcher. It is Native American - Dreamcatcher. So you can thank the Chippewa, not Stephen King for the wonderful name. If you read the linked article, you will see the device is "used as a charm to protect sleeping children from nightmares". You don't even have to read the short story to guess the story line.

New albums[edit]

Fall 2020, Secret Garden with Cathrine Iversen released 'Sacred Night', a special Christmas album with the re-release of I Know A Rose Tree and Mary's Lament in addition of 5 new songs.
