Biblio and original research[edit]

Some references lack the details necessary to identify the specific intended source material to allow verification. In some cases this may be due to an odd implementation of named references where the intended base reference is not named and subsequent references are given a name that could be associated with the base. Which leaves 'Branch, 1993' as a mystery. Regardless, some references lack the details needed to locate the intended source. One example: 'Connecticut Explored, 2014'; the publication I located has multiple issues in a year - so which one is intended? One reference refers to a website without identifying what website.

Sources referring to 'Email correspondence' or 'Phone call' suggest they are not published sources and thus original research. If they do refer to published sources they lack the necessary details to locate them. Gab4gab (talk) 12:41, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
