definition not specific?[edit]

The article begins by defining this disease as "an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the body." I thought the very essence of an automimmune disease is that the immune system attacks the body/? As such, I do not find the first sentence to be helpful. Ed8r (talk) 22:07, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
