Paragraph on COP 28 letter[edit]

I just added a paragraph on an open letter related to COP 28 based on an article on the Guardian today (Gayle 2023). But the text of the letter itself appears to date from COP 27. There are several possible explanations for this inconsistency and I am trying to track down the actual situation. In the meantime, I will leave the text up as it stands, pending an answer from Scientist Rebellion Germany. If none is forthcoming within 24 hours, I will remove that material in its entirety. No corrections that I could see on the Scientist Rebellion (SR) press release or open letter web pages after twenty‑four hours have elapsed. So am duly winding back my edits until more clarity is reached regarding the status of the open letter and/or whether the current Guardian article was written using new or stale material.
