Removal of most of the text

Hi, 中村ヒトミ. I notice we have had a disagreement about your recent edits. You removed most of this article (including almost all references, and a lot of references, interesting material). I interpreted this as vandalism the first time and undid it (saying in my edit text that you should discuss on the TALK page before making the change again), and then you re-removed all of the changes. I assumed that you had missed my edit comment, so I reverted your change again, went to your talk page, and told you what was going on. You went to my talk page and told me not to edit your talk page ever again (which, as I understand it, is not how wikipedia is supposed to work), and claimed that the material was too subjective (with no real explanation), and also that the album was released worldwide in the 70s (yet you provide no sources for this). Neither of these explains your removal of the information on the bonus tracks included on various versions of the album. Can you please comment on this? Luminifer (talk) 04:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Satori - Canadian article

I would agree, but it's not the "Canadian version", it's simply an album with the same title that was released in Canada. The content is very different, and I think warrants its own article - they were originally one article, but it was too confusing (check the history to see what I mean). and many albums often contain different content or arrangement depending on which region it is released in, it doesn't warrant a different fucking article!!! it is not a totally different release.

Hekerui - if you can think of a way to coherently merge the articles (I'd wait until this 'edit war' is over), then feel free to do so... but try not to lose any information in the merge :) I still lean towards them being separate articles, linked to each other, since the albums have fairly different histories and contents... It's also worth noting that the Canadian record has less than half the material (by time) than the Japanese release - and actually contains more material from the next Japanese album, Made In Japan. It is a North American release, and not a Canadian release as you pertinaciously state. An albums international release is in many cases different to it's home release, and can have many different versions if released in numerous regions. Mostly with different bonus tracks or art work, but sometimes original songs are removed for other songs as in this case (which is only 2) This article explains the different versions well, and actually provides a track listing to show it. The bands article was cleaned up in a huge way, and is now a neutral and encyclopedic entry, unlike the original versions [[1]] [[2]] which are laden with the most ridiculous shit. It might help to read from official sources, and reputable companies instead of personal websites such as your reference to jrawk.com which is a personal site with falsified interviews, or discogs.com a freely edited site. The only addition this article really needs is the cover art for the original North American LP from the official site.

I appreciate your efforts on FTB, and apprecaite that while you are still using inappropriate language here, at least you have stopped insulting me. Some of your changes to these pages are good, and some I think disagree with USA WP policy. If you look at WP:BAND you can see the importance of SECONDARY sources (that means NOT the official website), as well as the important of third party opinions (such as the reviews you removed from here). Also, the jrawk information seems to be interviews with the band themselves (which I never put there - you keep saying they are my links, but someone else put them originally). Regarding the North American or Canadian release, the songs are actually shorter (I do own a copy of it so can confirm this) - this should be illustrated on the page. Most of the content, going by TIME, is actually from Made In Japan. Only 3 out of the 5 songs on Satori appear, and they are cut approximately in half in length! Oh really? I checked and the professional reviews section has always remained there, only the bullshit written in the article has been removed. I think reviews are a load of shit, as it's just someone's personal opinion but for some reason they are acceptable on the wikipedia (although that Piero Scaruffi link isn't a fucking review) Secondary sources? Yeah I believe that would be Oricon and Strange Disc, two notable references. Who the fuck cares anyway, the wikipedia will always be a load of bullshit, with fuck heads trying to get their own opinion in, to damage or propagate. Write whatever you want, I'm not wasting my time anymore.
