Childhood[edit]

The article claims that she grew up in London, Ontario. The source for this is an interview (cited) where what she actually said was 'I grew up partly in London, Ontario...' However, in another interview, with Dave Weich of Powell's Books, included as an appendix 'A Conversation With The Author (2006)' to the Algonquin 2007 edition of Water For Elephants, she is quoted as saying 'I grew up in northern Ontario.'
