Thayer has been interviewed by several national media: National Public Radio, the Public Broadcasting System, and Wisconsin Public Radio. He has also been the invited speaker for several national conferences related to foraging for wild foods. I can understand the undesirability of a listing of all of his interviews/podcasts, but it does seem that in order to justify his inclusion in Wikipedia, some of these should be acknowledged--after all, he wouldn't have been so invited unless he was well known in his field. And it is not him that considers him the leader of his field, but others--as indicated in some of these interviews. Further, his book "Edible Wild Plants" is ranked sixth in Botany and sixth in Outdoor & Nature categories on Amazon.Steven C. Price 18:35, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
