Fair use rationale for Image:Houseofpainsameasiteverwas.jpg[edit]

Image:Houseofpainsameasiteverwas.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:54, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trumpet Loops[edit]

One of the things that made this album interesting and unique are the various trumpet loops. I remember reading a review back in the days that described who the trumpeter was and how his samples were used. Does anyone know who the trumpeter was whose work House of Pain used? --82.171.70.54 (talk) 15:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About 1.5 years later; name of the trumpeter still unknown... --82.171.70.54 (talk) 18:40, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't really a discussion forum about the album. You'd probably have better luck looking it up at discogs.com. --GentlemanGhost (converse) 02:39, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Same as It Ever WasSame as It Ever Was (House of Pain album) – For disambiguation. This phrase seems much more well known as a line of the Talking Heads song, "Once in a Lifetime". For example, that is what mostly pops up in a web search for the phrase. It was also used as the title of a Talking Heads album. It may have also inspired the titles of the various topics called Same as It Never Was. For other uses, see the new Same as It Ever Was (disambiguation) page. —BarrelProof (talk) 10:15, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. There's no other topic of this title on Wikipedia. For those looking for the Talking Heads song (or other topics) the hat note will get them where they're going. Additionally, the proposed title is out of step with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (music) and the emerging consensus that we should not include artist names unless there are other albums of the same title.--Cúchullain t/c 22:55, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
