I was so surprised to see one of the most interesting parts of the Carla C's history left out of the article - that of her first fifteen years of service, as the Flandre for the French Line. I've gone ahead and fixed that, giving this article a thorough rewrite to include her service as Flandre, the name change to Carla Costa, and more details as to her fate. Hoping to see it improve further as my edits are cleaned up and refined by others. Schuminweb 03:12, 3 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
