Notability[edit]

The Jstor article goes into detail. And the subject was already cited to an entire entry in an existing encyclopedia (Encyclopedia of Cleveland History) and other sources noting and discussing the subject. It would easily survive a deletion discussion. FloridaArmy (talk) 16:45, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

I copied the above over from FloridaArmy's talkpage. This is an old topic well sourced for the age of the topic. It's notable. Legacypac (talk) 22:00, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Legacypac, I totally agree with you and have moved this into article space. I've also read the article on JSTOR which is entirely devoted to this publisher. Note also that more than 100 years later, their musician's biographies were collected and republished in one volume by Greenwood Publishing Group in 1999 with a lengthy introduction on the company and its history by the musicologist E. Douglas Bomberger. I've added that book to a Further reading section. FloridaArmy, you can use it to expand the article. If you don't have access to JSTOR, email me and I can send you a copy. I found the rejection of this draft pretty inexplicable, frankly. Voceditenore (talk) 14:20, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
