I'm inclined to agree, this is the standard we use for example with the Gangut-class battleships: one article under their pre-revolutionary names, that covers both their Imperial and Soviet service, and a redirect from their Soviet names. Original project.[edit]

"She was originally designed by AG Vulcan Stettin." -- It is wrong. AG Vulcan was participant in the project, dealing mainly with power/propulsion, but primary designer was Putilovsky plant.
