Theatrical erection[edit]

the article in which he confirms the erection and mentions hampstead doesn't mention "the play about the baby". that play premiered at the almeida and has never been staged at hampstead, so cannot be the play he was talking about in the interview.

it does however contain textual reference's to the male state of arousal (!) so perhaps that why the confusion has ... arisen? Amo (talk) 22:48, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If one had read the preamble to the discussion of Penry-Jones's interview with the Sunday Times it would clearly state that the performance that the editor was discussing with Penry-Jones was that of the 'The Play About the Baby' as the interaction is based on an article from Wikipedia as I quote from the Times' Editor 'his story might be an urban myth - my source was the notoriously unreliable Wikipedia' if the essence of the discussion was this revolving around the topic of Jones's nude performance with an aroused member; the article needs no more verification as the words are from the mouth of the performer, Rupert Penry-Jones who by his own admission and for comical effect; states that '..It wasn’t the Almeida, it was the Hampstead Theatre” so the article and mentioning of the performance should alter to the fact that Penry-Jones was both performing at the HAMPSTEAD and not the ALMEIDA and that similarly he was rather aroused for the performance as he says '..I got bored with the play. So I started making sure I was slightly excited..' I will leave the ball in your court (no pun intended!) but I would and am considering re-introducing the somewhat controversial admission. would you be able to clarify that for me that in plain and concise english please? I don't understand what you want to do. if you are suggesting that because the article doesn't state that it wasn't tbatb that it must have been that play? Amo (talk) 20:53, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If the topic had occured between the Times' editor and Penry-Jones to the discussion of his nude role at the Hampstead; considering that seemingly he had done no either nude performances on stage it would be conclusive to state that it was 'The Play About the Baby' that the editor and Penry-Jones was discussing performed at the Hampstead. PoliceChief (talk) 23:47, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

right, and how would you be inclined to deal with a source that suggested the play has only been performed, in london, at the almeida? Amo (talk) 00:09, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spooks data[edit]

Aside from a brief mention that he was in Spooks, there seems to be very little data re when he joined, when he left etc. He was in the programme for 4 years so a fairly large chunk of his career, nearly a third in fact, which in my view deserves a paragraph or two. If you go to BAFTA, there is a list of BAFTA members. Despite all his shows, he is not a member of BAFTA. Odd. I wonder why he is being blackballed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.183.227.233 (talk) 20:47, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
