Sister-wife[edit]

This use of "sister-wife" is ambiguous at best, leading to confusion with the common meaning "sister AND wife (of a mythological or historical figure)". And while "sister wives" as "co-wives in a polygamous relationship" goes back to a couple of centuries, this specific use of "sister-wife OF another woman" is a neologism.
