At WikiProject Cornwall we subscribe to the policies laid down by Wikipedia - particularly civility and consensus building. We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. You don't have to agree with everything but there is no excuse for rudeness and these things are best solved through consensus building and compromise. For more information see WP:CornwallGuideline.
These pages are not platforms for political discussion. Issues relating to Cornish politics should be restricted to those pages that directly deal with these issues (such as Constitutional status of Cornwall, Cornish nationalism, etc) and should not overflow into other articles.

12 August 1799 The Royal Cornwall Infirmary opened in Truro (S. George district) - designed for mining community (though later opened for everyone) and paid for by George IV[1]
Had an expansion in 1939 from 20 beds to 180 beds due to £90,000 investment[2]
New hospital built at Triliske with 180 beds and 6 wards. Now has 650 & has 110,000 patients a year. "Co-existed with the RCH city site on Infirmary Hill in Truro from many years until the City Hospital started to transfer services to Treliske in 1992. The City Hospital closed in 1999 and has since been redeveloped with housing and a health centre."[3]
12 July 1968 HRH Princess Alexandra officially opened the Royal Cornwall Hospital hospital at Treliske.[4]
The Royal Cornwall Hopsital has 750 bed hospital. Maternity ward called Princess Alexandra Wing - David Camerons child born there.[5]
