I think the article confuses the INDEX which is basically just a number, computed using a specific algorithm, with the software that displays the historical and present values of the number in a graph. Since this software is basically a commercial product, I think the distinction should be made more explicit; namely that the article should be amended in some way to indicate that a time-series of index values may be displayed in a graphical format to show trends, etc. Alan1507 (talk) 09:26, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
