Noting 12-day hijacking of article Roos Vanotterdijk by User:Akadunzio from 12:10 on 22 January 2023 to 15:57 on 3 February 2023, which included the user reverting all edits made by the new article creator (User:Tanis Coralee Leonhardi) in an attempt to restore order and the user introducing formatting not in compliance with pre-existing article formatting. Noting the user publicly declared a long-term commitment to vandalizing the article Roos Vanotterdijk on my User talk page. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 05:56, 12 February 2023 (UTC).[reply]
After notifying User:Akadunzio via a discussion they initiated about the article Roos Vanotterdijk on my user talk page and providing over 10 days to clean up their vandalism post-notification (1 to 12 February 2023), they did not clean it up. So on 12 February 2023 I cleaned it up. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 05:58, 12 February 2023 (UTC).[reply]
Noting additional vandalism by same user, User:Akadunzio, at 16:23 on 12 February 2023. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 16:32, 12 February 2023 (UTC).[reply]
Out of safety and concern for the information being repeatedly vandalized via removal, am choosing to leave the information off the page for the time being. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 16:36, 12 February 2023 (UTC).[reply]
In my lived experience "gemeente" has a nuanced translation to the English language as "township" as in where one was born. The term in English for where one lives is "residence". Reference included in article at creation by 1 user (User:Tanis Coralee Leonhardi) and archived by a 2nd user (User:Zyxw) has been repeatedly vandalized by 1 user (User:Akadunzio). Including reference here.[1]
As of 14 February 2023 (23 days after first vandalism on article Roos Vanotterdijk by User:Akadunzio), User:Akadunzio has not provided a reliable reference saying Roos Vanotterdijk was not born in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium. Since they have repeatedly vandalized the article in the form of removing city and country information entirely (blanking) instead of taking the appropriate response of leaving the information and adding a citation needed or clarification needed template, I am trying adding just country and tagging the country information with citation needed. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 22:00, 14 February 2023 (UTC).[reply]
I have no reference saying Roos Vanotterdijk was born in the Netherlands as User:Akadunzio suggests on my user talk page and does not provide a reference for. Whether Roos Vanotterdijk was born in Belgium, the Netherlands, or someplace else, such as Norway, adding a Wikipedia:Reliable sources for birthplace/country could improve the article. The Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources page provides classification of some references per their reliability/unreliability. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 20:06, 9 March 2023 (UTC).[reply]
Section on my user talk page corresponding to the above has been removed, though it is still accessible via the revision history for the user talk page. Tanis Coralee Leonhardi (talk) 14:08, 14 March 2023 (UTC).[reply]
