Ronaldo → Ronaldo (name) – Ronaldo should redirect to Cristiano Ronaldo per WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. Cristiano meets the criteria for WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, that are long-term/historical significance and high likeliness of usage. Flooded with them hundreds 08:46, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Most people will search for Cristiano Ronaldo when searching for him. Views [[1]] show that Ronaldo (Brazilian footballer) receives a comparable number of views considering people are much more likely to use just "Ronaldo" when searching for him. The RM has been closed speedily. As with the discussion above, neither footballer is a primary topic for "Ronaldo", but the name itself isn't either (article links 24 Ronaldo vs 1546 Ronaldo (Brazilian footballer); page views 284 vs 7405; search results overwhelmingly for Cristiano Ronaldo.) WikiNav results are also interesting. Would a disambiguation page serve the reader better than assuming incorrectly that a reader visiting Ronaldo seeks information on the name itself?
