CNP meaning[edit]

The CNP contains the birthdate of the individual. The 2nd - 7th digits contain this info in the form YYMMDD. I have verified this on an image of a Romanian ID. There is no other field on the ID card which is identified in the article as containing the birthdate.Gaas99 (talk) 06:56, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expiration[edit]

In the text I see "After age 55 years, the identity card is issued with valid permanent", in the box "55 years", in reality I have seen one today with 60 years. Any ideas anyone? --Mbchristoph (talk) 10:03, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
