Neutrality[edit]

I'm concerned about the information mainly in the 'Criticisms' section. The comments make attacks on Robertson's theories in a manner that doesn't fully explain the criticisms and without providing any reliable sources. Also, his theories are never actually explained in depth, much less given any sort of support. When I have some more time (in a week or two) I'm going to go on a more in depth hunt for sources, particularly for these criticisms of his ideas, but also for some actual biographical information about Robertson. I will try to see to the verification of the criticisms as soon as possible. The searching I have done tonight has yielded zero support for these claims, but I have seen support to back up his theories as valid.

So, to improve this article, I think focus should be on: (1)addressing the citation issue, (2)giving the article a more neutral point of view, and (3)adding some more biographical info.

If anyone could tackle this as well, it would be welcome! I also hope that someone else will at least watch the page and give feedback here on the talk page. I really need some other perspectives on this, especially if there' someone out there with a background in sociology. Thanks! Menthaxpiperita (talk) 05:53, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to add biographical information to this article over the next fer weeks. Jolsto (talk) 02:14, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Should theory have its own page?[edit]

Does anyone agree that there should be a separate page for his globalization theory? If it is so disputed, perhaps it should have its own page, and the criticisms can be moved there. This article is supposed to be about Roland Robertson, and right now there is very little information on the actual person. Menthaxpiperita (talk) 05:53, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
