As the author of two biographies on Venturi and Scott Brown, I noticed a recent, self-serving, addition to this still rather weak entry: the book by Otero. It is not a well-regarded or mainstream book, and its conclusions are not widely accepted in the architectural history community. Jean Labatut, one of Venturi's studio professors (and hardly the only one), was never known as an advocate for "car-centric" or commercial strip architecture, despite Otero's weak thesis. There is no mention, in the sources, of the definitive scholarly book on Venturi/Scott Brown: David DeLong and David Brownlee's Out of the Ordinary. This should replace the obviously self-aggrandizing entry, no doubt added by Otero himself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hewittarch (talkcontribs) 01:43, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
