WRONG PERSON[edit]

I AM CONVINCED THAT THE CREDITS FROM THE '59 THEATRE COMPANY BELONG TO HAROLD LANG THE BRITISH ACTOR WHO DIED IN 1970. HAROLD LANG CERTAINLY PLAYED ROBESPIERRE IN "DANTON'S DEATH" FOR THAT COMPANY ON STAGE AND TELEVISION. IN TRYING TO CHECK THEIR "BRAND", WHICH WAS ALSO TELEVISED, WITH IMDb I FOUND CONSIDERABLE CONFUSION ONLINE GENERALLY BETWEEN THE BRITISH AND AMERICAN HAROLD LANGS! I KNOW LITTLE OF ROBERT LANG'S PRE-1960 CAREER TO PUT IN ITS PLACE, SO AM RELUCTANT TO TAKE THIS OUT. BUT I FEEL CONVINCED SOMEONE HAS CONFUSED TWO LANGS.

What I wrote above is perfectly right. I have just checked it with Who's Who In The Theatre, 13th and 16th editions. The sentence about the '59 Theatre Company, with two parts named, is true of HAROLD Lang. Of Robert Lang's early '60s appearances, only "The Lower Depths" was RSC - "A Midsummer Night's Dream" was for the Royal Court. I have edited accordingly.
