Captain Townsend[edit]

Sometime between the authorization of the River Defense Fleet and its actual implementation, Captain Townsend disappears. I thought that he had stayed with the Memphis section, but I can find no evidence that he did, nor can I find any reason why he was not there. Gun Boat Resolute[edit]
