Hearing disability[edit]

@user:Snickers2686, I've imported this post from Wikipedia talk:Talk page guidelines.

Hello,
You recently edited the Rita Lin page stating a better source is needed to state she has a hearing disability. The source given has both Rita Lin herself, as well as one of the two sitting US senators of her state confirming she has the disability. Why is a third source be needed? We have information from judicial nominees on their page such as the year they were born with just one source (Their SJC questionnaire). Could you explain why a third source is needed to state a self disclosed disability?
Thank you
