A Danish episode[edit]

A question: Once upon a time, in danish television, they broadcastet an episode in which Richard O. Sullivan was the actor. "Richard" was multiplied to 10-20 identical persons (himself),and the copies died/disappeered after a shorter while, popping out, pop! The thrilling was: Did the real one or one of the copies die?

Anyone who knowes the title of this sit-com, episode, . . . . ?

  • Possibly this was a one off ITV comedy called "The Giftie" from 1988, written by Wally K.Daly, seem to remember it had something to do with clones. which was inspired by the, I think, Rabbie Burns quotation "What a gift the 'giftie' gee us to see ourselves as others see us." Tim Brooke Taylor was also in it.81.111.127.132 (talk) 00:12, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I can confirm it was "The Giftie". And it was inspired by the Robert Burns line, "seeing ourselves" from outside being behind the idea of cloning or copying individuals. 2.31.164.101 (talk) 06:45, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
