Special status[edit]

Former revolutionary base areas allegedly continue to enjoy a special status, see http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/14/opinion/yu-stealing-books-for-the-poor.html an opinion piece by an author regarding intellectual piracy in base areas, and prisons.
