Dan Hicks??[edit]

I have the soundtrack album and, if memory serves, Dan Hicks does not appear as a listed artist. (I'm not home at the moment and, as such, do not have access to my music database.) Was he part of one of the other musicians on the soundtrack album?THX1136 (talk) 18:14, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I too have the soundtrack album and, if memory serves, Dan Hicks does appear as a listed artist. (I'm not home at the moment and, as such, do not have access to my music database.) I'll check when I get back!Leutha (talk) 20:39, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The track listings for the vinyl release of the soundtrack album (UAS 5185) on United Artists records is as follows: Side One: Revolution - Mother Earth, Codine - Quicksilver Messenger Service, Superbyrd and Your Old Lady - Steve Miller Band. Side Two: Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You - Quicksilver Messenger Service, Without Love - Mother Earth, Mercury Blues - Steve Miller Band and Stranger in My Home Town - Mother Earth. Codine is misspelled. There is no evidence of Dan Hicks unless he was a member of Mother Earth. I am certain he was never in Quicksilver nor Steve Miller Band. I am only aware of him being in the Charlatans and his own band, the Hot Licks. Mr. Hicks does appear in the film. As such I am deleting his name from the list of artists appearing on the soundtrack album along with the Ace of Cups and Country Joe. If this is in error, please feel free to revert.THX1136 (talk) 19:17, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
