Controversial?[edit]

Do you think Retransmission Consent is a controversial law? Spencer H. Karter (talk) 12:13, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It appears to be. But the claim here should be backed up with citations. Actually, the rest of the article should be too. Barte (talk) 11:38, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe this is more accurately categorized as a debate? 65.207.79.74 (talk) 08:50, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Revereted Edit[edit]

I'd normally just respond directly to the person who reverted my additions, but it appears the person who did so made the edits anonymously. So, I post here.

I added several paragraphs to the "debate" section of this article, only to have them reverted anonymously with no explanation. References were cited, and I believe that both sides of the debate were fairly represented. The swift removal comes off as an action to suppress information.

Since I cannot open a dialog with the editor who reverted my additions, what actions are available to me?

Agreed: they were removed without a reason given. I put back in, edited, with one paragraph that seemed more explanatory than about the debate in a higher section. Feel free to revise my revises. Barte (talk) 20:49, 18 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Taking a closer look, I've removed the paragraph relating retransmission consent to higher basic tier fees. The argument is WP:SYNTH: it's not directly in the sources. Nor could I find a source making this case online. Barte (talk) 14:21, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
