I believe this page was plagiarized by some other site today because of the html tags I've taken out. I think a revert is in order, which redirects research paper to academic paper. Any ideas on this? --Bookinvestor (talk) 05:47, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can't find the original for it now, otherwise I'd delete it as WP:COPYVIO. However, a google search for text that was only in the original version ends up at an "essay experts" website.
The current article is a how-to guide, and contains nothing suitable to be kept as an encyclopedia article. I don't think the original redirect to academic paper is in order, because that now redirects to academic publishing, and not all research papers are published -- as I understand the term, it also covers essays that do not get peer-reviewed. There are incoming links, so deleting it would create redlinks in other articles. Rather than that, I'm redirecting it to the stub term paper. - Fayenatic(talk) 19:01, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I changed this page from "redirect" to "disambiguation" page, because a research paper is more related to an academic or scientifc journal. Although when you are in high school or college, it proably does not seem that is so. ----Steve Quinn (formerly Ti-30X) (talk) 02:36, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
