Ratings[edit]

I compiled the ratings for each Rescue 911 episode for its original airing. I also added a table will the full season ratings and ranks. I was not able to find any quick, easy info on the full season ratings for seasons 1-3, so I used the 'ranking so far' number given by the newspapers on the week that the ratings season ended. Could someone who has access to a source that lists the full season ratings for all programs in 1990-1992 double check those rankings, and add the rating numbers? Rescue 911 and Australia[edit]

A few years back I read an article that claimed that calls to 999 declined as a result of Australians getting the emergency number mixed up because of the show. Can anyone in Australia confirm this? I wanted to add this tidbit to the article, but I am not sure. - Hoshie 05:34, 2 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Read the post by user "kaleb777" on this page. It would seem that viewers were made well aware of the difference in numbers at the end of the show. While I'm sure some people still tried 911 out of confusion, it certainly wouldn't have resulted in any significant decline in 999 calls. JeffyP 20:56, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
