Dimensions[edit]

There are several conflicting figures for the exact dimensions of this pistol, apparently one set of figures for each source. This article has provided at least two different sets of figures. Until such time as Remington releases actual dimensions, I am removing dimensional information from this article. A blog piece on the size issue can be found in the link below. I would not consider this blog to be fit for use as a reference in the article, but I do consider it fit for use on the talk page.

Remington did provide the dimensions. I posted a scan of their Shot Show brochure above in this talk section. The dimensions that the article listed matched these official dimensions, so I don't know why you would go and delete them. Silencertalk (talk) 23:10, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I was unaware of the brochure provided at the Shot Show. I'll try to figure out a way to use the scan as a reference. Stanislao Avogadro (talk) 06:47, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't have to be online to use as a reference. Just say something like "Remington brochure published and distributed at the 2014 SHOT Show". We just have to trust that you aren't making it up, just like when someone cites a rare book. Gigs (talk) 16:05, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Worst gun"[edit]

Some people consider this to be one of the worst guns ever made. Should this include a reception section? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.9.240.146 (talk) 23:37, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There's probably more that can be said. Aside from seeing multiple people experience the gun firing partially out of battery (not inherently catastrophic, but highly flinch inducing), and seeing MANY people complain about the action seizing up, I'm thinking there must be some good and reliable sources to cite for expanding the section. Perhaps there's also some writing which goes over how much the poor reception of the gun contributed to Remington's bankruptcy. 217.209.145.79 (talk) 12:01, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
