The link backing up the religion demographics doesn't actually provide any numbers. It says "The U.S. State Department did not issue an International Religious Freedom report for this territory in 2008". Whats more 72% religious seems unlikely considering most of the population are scientists who [have 25-50% religion]. Where did these numbers come from? Am I missing them on the ARDA site? In response to above: those numbers were from a survey of the personnel on the continent. The ARDA has since removed the percentile results, but it was there at one point. Many of the scientists on station in Antarctica are ecologists, engineers, etc. There are also many support staff. This is quite different from a scenario in which there might be nothing but physicists and paleontologists--a quite different demographic. - gdr05a
