Needs work[edit]

Lede says he met Hitler, presumably in a significant role. But there is nothing about this in the article. And if he was on the wanted list at the end of the war, why he was not arrested and interrogated when he reappeared in Europe in 1958? Valetude (talk) 22:11, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Image?[edit]

The image in the article was taken from the tv show After Dark on which the subject of this article appeared. Someone who says they are the grandson/granddaughter of the subject of the article - Reinhard Spitzy - removed the image, saying (as their only edit on Wikipedia to date):

>>My Grandfather never appeared on After Dark, the image used is not portraying him

As Reinhard Spitzy most certainly appeared on After Dark (the production company can confirm this) I am not sure what value to place on "the image used is not portraying him".

So I have reverted, pending further information. If anyone wants to contact the production company behind After Dark, their contact details are available on their website: www.openmedia.co.uk

After some research I have just discovered that the image is indeed not one of Spitzy (it is of Alex Comfort). It seems I obtained an incorrectly labelled file some years ago, so I apologise to the families of Reinhard Spitzy and Alex Comfort for the mistake and I will now do what I can to put matters right.
