I think this page should have more on his BDO career, relative to his PDC career, especially given their relative lengths at this point --Superskippy 21:21, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can't agree more, the article is beginning to read like "A Year in the life of ...." - I think some of the date references to his 2006 PDC career need removing. I will add to his BDO career Seedybob2 00:25, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trimming PDC career[edit]

I've shortened his PDC career given what's been said above. Don't think we should have too much analysis on each match eg "came from 4-7 behind to win the next three then Taylor missed a couple of doubles." That kind of analysis should go on the particular tournament page, so update those at your pleasure/leisure (obviously the world final is an exception). Otherwise we would end up with an article that is far too long. After 1 year in the PDC its probably still out-of-proportion to his career. Seedybob2 14:45, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Laterality[edit]

Laterality is a technical term used by biologists to describe which side of the body (or brain) an organism preferentially uses.

I feel it is being abused here, especially as van Barneveld is described in the article as "naturally left-handed" yet his "laterality" is described as "right-handed".

Perhaps use of a less technical term such as "handedness" or "throwing hand" would be more appropriate. Marchino61 (talk) 15:09, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
