Some sources[edit]

The 1978 film was scripted by the notable writer Padmarajan and directed by the notable director Bharathan (it was Bharathan's fourth movie as a director). It is hard to find in depth online coverages for this 30 year old Malayalam film. However, there are a couple of sources which, I hope, will establish the notability of the film. This news item describes it as a classic movie. This source also calls the movie as classic. The film was hailed as "bold creative experiments" by this] source. The book "Indian Films", by National Film Archive of India, discusses about the movie Rathi Nirvedam. There exists few more books that mention about this movie. I hope it's enough to remove the Prod. I'm inclined to say not. As I have tried to point out to you elsewhere, a film is not notable just because it is mentioned in a few places. Notability requires "significant coverage", and if this film really was a "classic" or a "bold creative experiment" then I would expect to find more than a few mentions here and there.
