Rat torture is used to kill somebody in the novel Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves by Matthew Reilly. Might be worth mentioning in the "in fiction" section. 92.200.21.221 (talk) 19:00, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Similar rat torture as in "Game of Thrones" episode 2x04 was depicted as well in a 1978 TV-show from former Yugoslavia, Sedam Sekretara SKOJ-a. The bucket was also placed on a man's chest and heated with a hot clothes iron. It feels like that show should be mentioned because it happened before. 1984[edit]

Rectoscope[edit]

There is a section in the article discussing the rectoscope and it's use on Jewish prisoners. If you read the 1984 Nunca Mas report, I don't think there is any mention of the rectoscope or any Jewish prisoners at all. Is this an urban legend? Another section of the article mentions rat torture being used by Brazil during the military dictatorship, but following the link takes you to a reactionary article with no mention of rat torture.
