Untitled[edit]

It's been a while since I heard "Get Involved," but didn't the lyrics go something like "S-A-double D-I-Q..."? Is that an alternate spelling? KamuiShirou 28 June 2005 08:09 (UTC)

That's actually the same spelling... the trend in Oakland has always been to put the word "double" after the letter that is used twice. Don't ask me why....Reggaedelgado 02:14, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Luke Cage[edit]

Should there be some reference to the songs he played in Cottonmouth's club, during the 1st episode of Luke Cage? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.51.193.173 (talk) 23:58, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Islamic name?[edit]

Why did he change his last name to Saadiq? Did he become Muslim? Saadiq is an arabic word meaning friend. Zakariya bin Dana (talk) 09:36, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He probably did but then backtracked after 9/11. He was in "the Ummah" with Shaheed, Kamaal, and Jay Dee. Talib Kweli does a similar thing post 9/11 and distances himself from Islam any chance he gets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.160.229 (talk) 00:59, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well it's been updated since then. He explained that he like the meaning of the name and wanted a different "show" last name to because he's brother was in the group with him. He wanted his own identity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Puddfoxx (talkcontribs) 23:58, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Raphael Saadiq[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Raphael Saadiq's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:53, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
