Untitled[edit]

I'm a little disappointed with what little information there is on Randy Jo Hobbs. He is and was known as a bass player for the Mccoy's who knowed off the Beatles from the top 100 in 1965. He played with Rick Derringer, Edgar Winter, Johnny Winter. Maybe taking the time to update Randy Jo would do him more justice, I'm willing to help, Randy Jo deserves a better send off then this.

i am randy jo hobbs cousin. i am susan ellis. my dad is/was daniel ellis brother of betty june skiver of union city indiana. Neal, Timmy, Johnny, and Tori are my first cousins. randy used to hang out at my aunt betty junes alot and the boys used to play music together. My cousin Timmy skiver really strived to make it a sucess and had a band called the ferris wheels and they made a 45 called sherri 42553, it was her phone number....anyway. they inspired me to pursue music as well, i was younger than they were so they used to tell me to get out of their hang out, but i was inspired and now play by ear harmonica and sing...i am writing this fast as i just found this site and will edit this later but would also like to see more written about randy, if you want more info on randy i can give you some............. warmly, susan e-mail: freeandfloats@sbcglobal.net —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.142.33.252 (talk) 07:17, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, as he was an exceptional bassist and one of my inspirations. From what I understand he also played with Jimi Hendrix. I would love to knoe Randy's life story and how he got to be so good when in his prime.2601:CA:C100:7152:4586:B7A2:14B:7A26 (talk) 01:59, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
