Wrong location[edit]

The location shown by the red dot on the map in the infobox is completely wrong and shows the island about 15 miles along the coast from where it should be. Does anyone know how to fix it? Richerman (talk) 10:31, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed, both the coordinates on this page, and the coordinates on Template:Location map United Kingdom Wales Dyfed needed adjustment. I wonder if it might be better to use Template:Location map Wales Pembrokeshire for the islands of Ramsey, Skokholm and Skomer. Pasicles (talk) 00:18, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Importance[edit]

I've revised the WP Wales review. If the island is a major British site for wildlife, particularly grey seals, that must make it more notable in Welsh terms. Sionk (talk) 12:58, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Red deer on Ramsey Island[edit]

I was watching a documentary named "Wild Wales" on BBC 2 and it showed a heard of Red deer on this island which were introduced by a former owner of this island. The documentary stated that this heard is an especially pure heard because there hasn't been interbreeding with other types of deer. I think that this information might be something which could be included in the article and would improve it.--TGC55 (talk) 15:16, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Seal pup (Ophelia storm) deaths Suggestion[edit]

The BBC reported an estimated 90 seal pup deaths here as a result of Ophelia; the Western Telegraph said 140. Should this be included in the article? Tony Holkham (Talk) 21:25, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
