Change in profile but it's wrong information[edit]

Birth year[edit]

I have restored the sourced content regarding the birth year of the subject which was repeatedly removed by Kandesrikanth ([1], [2],[3]) without explanation. I have tried to settle the issue at the user's talk page, but they are unresponsive as their version is standing. Hence, reverting to status quo. Ponyo, WP:DOB says "on the side of caution and simply list the year, provided that there is a reliable source for it." We are not displaying her birthdate but only the year, so its consistent with the policy. It cannot be said that the subject objects inclusion of her birthdate, as the source mostly contains their own interview. --Ab207 (talk) 19:35, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) We crossed wires as I was responding to another talk page post you made to Cyphoidbomb. Navigation popups led me astray in this case as I thought the template was the standard {{Template:Birth date and age}} as opposed to {{Template:Birth based on age as of date}}. I would not have reverted if I had not misread the dif, however, it's still only an estimated birth year based on one source and is borderline at best. I would err on the side of caution and not include it until there is additional sourcing, but will stand back as the protecting admin as it's more of an editorial issue as opposed to a BLP policy concern at this point.-- Jezebel's Ponyo^{bons mots} 19:50, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, Now I have seen the comment on Cyphidbomb's talk, and trying to make some sense out of it. I'll check if there are any additional sources which report her birthdate. Ponyo, Thanks for the response! It didn't occur to me that you've come from Cyphidbomb's talk (I thought the other editor has reported at ANI or something), else I would have limited the discussion to one talk page.
