At some point, it might be reasonable to redirect Privilege to here, instead of going straight to Law of Privilege. However, currently there's 172 mainspace backlinks to it, and the great majority use the "state-granted immunity" meaning, even though that's a relatively narrow and technical meaning. --Hirsutism (talk) 23:06, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I personally hear the sociological usage the most often, and it's the one that (I suspect) many people have the most trouble understanding. There really isn't much here about it, though. One might argue that the lack of information is part of the male domination of wikipedia; part of male (or any other) privilege is not needing to worry about it.
