Looking for[edit]

…I am looking for information relative to the Pratt and Whitney R- 1340 series engines, particulary the model called the Hornet with a propellor shaft ratio of 0:67:1 ratio. I understand it had a slightly larger cylinder bore and was in use in the mid 30's as well as 1950 and 1960 era as a power plant for the Canadian built DeHavilland Otter.204.112.125.42 17:21, 5 September 2007 (UTC) ybbob@mts.net[reply]

Dates regarding Twin Wasp[edit]

Where does May 1931 came from as a start of designing the Twin Wasp? AFAIK design process started in 1929...
