Origin and Insertion[edit]

Does this article have origin and insertion confused? I though the insertion was in the femur and origin in the tibia. Horus (talk) 23:14, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the origin and insertion switch, depending on which action this muscle is performing, flexion or "unlocking." This needs to be cleared up by someone who knows more about it than I do. Bobsagat (talk) 00:24, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Cyamella (bone)[edit]

This hidden article could easily be represented in the Structure#Variation section of the article. This would benefit readers, who would have the content on one page, and also help by providing additional context to the information. This article could be re-split at a later date if necessary.
