Proposed redirect to Pope Benedict XVI[edit]

I propose that this page be moved to Pope Benedict (disambiguation) (currently a redirect to this article), and that Pope Benedict redirect to Pope Benedict XVI. Pretty much everyone searching on Pope Benedict is looking for the currently incumbent pope.

Pope Benedict XVI would be updated to use the {{Redirect}} template ("Pope Benedict" redirects here. For other uses, see Pope Benedict (disambiguation)) rather than the {{otherpeople2}} template it currently uses (For other persons of the same name, see Pope Benedict).

I realize that, if the next pope takes the name Pope Benedict XVII, that we'll have to update this in twenty years or so, but I don't see that as a big deal. Any objections? TJRC (talk) 16:55, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
