School reviews[edit]

Where are these reviews coming from? Is this original research, or is there a source? If there is a source, show it; these reviews seem very unencyclopedic. --Lapse29 04:17, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

It'd be good to have a section on the history of the school. Example: the orginal Pomona High School was on Holt Avenue until a teacher set it on fire. Eeekster (talk) 20:47, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's a misconception that a teacher set fire to the school, there were a few teachers that were were suspected of possibly setting fire to the school, including the English teacher I had when I went to Pomona High in the mid 70s. As related to my class by this teacher, she was a suspect because she had previously worked at another school that also had a suspicious fire. The suspicions were turned to the school's custodian when investigators determined the likely point of origin was in the custodian's room but no proof of arson was ever found, there was even a possibility that it was spontaneous combustion from oily rags in the custodian's room and no one was ever convicted of setting the fire.
