Year of introduction[edit]

http://www.oxfordreference.com/view/10.1093/oi/authority.20110803100335215 <- This states that the term was coined in 1964, and in fact this paper mentions pollyanna and says "(e.g., a general “pollyanna” tendency we have noted consistently in our earlier work)", which probably means he used this concept even before then. --Ihaveacatonmydesk (talk) 15:01, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
